Lake Combie

Lake Combie is one of the most unique places to own a lakefront in Northern California!  What makes Lake Combie so special is it’s combination of lakefront properties on acreage; privacy; and warm water lakefront sports available!!!  Where else in California could you possibly own 5 acres on a lake with a boat dock?

Located between Auburn and Grass Valley off of Highway 49 Lake Combie is at the perfect elevation for year round fun in the sun.  Lake Combie is above the Sacramento Valley fog and below the Lake Tahoe snow line.  The water temperate can get up to 75 to 80 degress in the lake which makes for wonderful waterskiing, wake boarding and general floating around!!!

Lake Combie is a 360 acre lake that is fed by the pristine Bear River.  Residents enjoy pontoon boats, wake board, water sking, fishng, kayaking and swimming.  One half of the lake is in Nevada County (accessed from Hwy 49) and the other half is in Placer County access by InterState 80.  Darkhorse Golf Club and Winchester County Club are both nearby golf courses.

Lake Combie offers a rare combination of privacy, lake front acreage and a very unique lifestyle that is very desirable.  I have had many clients tell me the Lake Combie reminds them of a lake they used to go to when they were kids in either the midwest or in up state New York.   Many of my clients wanted this experience for their children and found it here at Lake Combie!

Lake Combie is under the jurisdiction and control of NID (Nevada Irrigation District). NID setbacks can run from 100″ feet to the high water mark depending upon the parcel.  Dock permits are managed and required by NID.
